  1. Informal appointment with a representative from Home to rent
    Please contact one of our branches if you are interested in renting out your property through Home to rent and make an informal appointment to discuss the possibilities with one of our representatives.
  2. Intake of the property
    During the intake of the property, a broker from Home to rent will discuss the details related to renting out your property with you. Upon request, a photographer will take pictures of the property that will be used for the several websites on which the property will be listed. After the intake of the property we will write a description of the property, after which the property will be listed online as soon as possible.
  3. Listing the property online
    As soon as Home to rent has all the necessary details for the property, it will be listed on online portals such as Funda.nl, Pararius.nl, Hometorent.nlas well as Home to rent’s social media channels.
  4. Viewings with potential tenant(s)
    A representative from Home to rent will view the property with a number of potential tenants. When a potential tenant expresses interest in renting your property, he/she will be introduced to you, the landlord, upon request. Home to rent will select a suitable tenant using a sophisticated screening process. Of course you, as the landlord, will make the final decision.
  5. Preparing and signing the lease contract
    As soon as a (new) tenant has been selected, Home to rent will prepare the lease contract. A draft contract will be sent to you before it is sent to the tenant. Upon agreement by landlord and tenant, Home to rent will ensure that all necessary documents are signed. In addition, Home to rent will ensure that the deposit and the first month’s rent will be paid.
  6. Inspection and key transfer
    When both parties have signed the lease contract, Home to rent will take care of the inspection of the property and the key transfer. During the key transfer, Home to rent will inspect the property using an inventory list, and write an inspection report. In addition, Home to rent will take pictures of the property during the inspection. Within two weeks after completion of the key transfer and property inspection, both the landlord and the tenant will receive an email with the signed documents and the pictures.

  7. Extra services
    Home to rent can offer extra services during the lease period, such as: administrative services, and property styling as well as advice on interior decorating, cleaning services, house painting and maintenance.
